The Story.

Neither of us imagined having the opportunity to start a studio. Last July, we both applied and were accepted into Oculus Launch Pad 2020. Due to the pandemic, it was a completely remote fellowship. We met networking and connected over a passion for narrative cooperative experiences.

From there, the two of us became a team. We created a vertical slice of a VR experience called Hey Pops! We took a risk and explored an cooperative interactive narrative and diving into what it takes to build a networked experience.

We were in shock and beyond elated when we heard that we received a grant from Oculus/Facebook for Hey Pops! That allowed us to establish Klexos Interactive as well as onboard a team of 12 (and counting) to continue development.

We are passionate about telling stories that provide a new perspective, promotes positive mental/emotional health and encourages interactivity between players. The pillars that we connected over when we met became the foundation of our company, and now the common themes through the content we make.

The people we work with are from a range of different backgrounds, skill levels and mindsets. We believe that diverse content starts with a diverse team. We are excited to share what all we’ve been working on!
